OUR Mission

CHIM Studio for art & music (also known as Younhee Paik’s Art and Music Studio) is a non-profit, charitable organization, which focuses on 3 missions:

• Providing art, music, and yoga classes for people with special needs

• Hosting art exhibitions and two annual music concerts for the cultural enrichment of the public

• Funding the San Francisco Art Institute MFA Scholarship Program and providing an exhibition opportunity for the award recipient

CHIM stands for Creativity, Healing, and Inspiration for the Mind

History

CHIM Studio was founded in 2013 by its director, Younhee Paik, a dedicated and renowned visual artist. Younhee Paik designated her estate to support the foundation, with the goal of fostering both artistic and spiritual growth through art, music, and yoga education, as well as exhibitions and concerts. She also envisioned CHIM Studio as a healing environment, open to and maintained for those in need.
